  • Acted for a listed investment holding company in an appeal on issues relating to whether the taxpayer’s sources of income can be further sub-divided into income / non-income producing counter under the Income Tax Act 1967.
  • Successfully represented a tooling manufacturer in a tax. Appeal before the High Court concerning time-barred assessments raised by the Inland Revenue Board when disallowing reinvestment allowance claimed by the appellant.
  • Successfully represented a steel manufacturer with headquarter in Spain in an Application for Judicial Review against the Government’s decision in removing the Anti-Dumping Duties on goods imported by foreign manufacturers into Malaysia.
  • Successfully represented Amlife Insurance Bhd (now AmMetLife Insurance Bhd) in an appeal at the Court of Appeal on the ascertainment of income under different categories of insurance funds under the Income Tax Act 1967 and Insurance Act 1996.
